There’s a wide range of tennis events and activities for all our members and regardless of age or ability. Keep an eye on the main WhatsApp group for details and announcements.

Adult Social Tennis
Come along to our adult social tennis sessions that run throughout the year – these are open to all members and no need to book in advance. These are doubles matches played in a short format (7 games, single deuce) to enable rotation and minimal waiting.

Spring/Summertime (April - September): Wednesday 6pm, Thursday 2pm & Sunday 2pm
Autumn/Winter (October - March): Thursday 2pm & Sunday 10am



Merseyside Veterans Tennis Association (MVTA) also play at the club from May to September and continue at an indoor venue throughout the rest of the year. For veterans tennis please contact Eddie Bannon via 07545 706224.

League Tennis
We field a number of teams within the local LTA leagues during the summer months. Contact info@ewltc.co.uk if you’re interested in playing. Match practice takes place on Sundays during the League season. There is also a local winter league (played at various indoor venues in the area).

Club Tournaments
Our main Club Championships take place in August and September, with the Club Presentation Night held in October. Outside of this we hold an annual Memorial Trophy as well as various one-off competition days (such a Davis Cup themed event).
