Glebian Tennis Club

Glebian Tennis Club has 3 astro-turf courts (2 of which have floodlights), a modern clubhouse and parking. Details of how to use the floodlights are shown under the "More" tab of the website. We are always keen to welcome new members across all age groups and playing ability. Those who want to begin playing tennis can be taught through sessions with the Club's coach (either a group session or on a 1:1 basis),. The coach will  assess when their play is of a suitable standard appropriate to join mix in sessions and become a member.  Those who wish to improve their playing ability can join the regular sessions held by the coach. We hold tennis tournaments,  social events and croquet.

Throughout the week we have a number of Mix-in's which are open to all members and Match Practice sessions for team players.

Full members can play any day from 8am, except when matches are due to be played.  Fixture lists of all matches can be seen on the Club Notice Board.

Balls
The club supplies balls as part of the full adult membership fee.

Equipment
You will need a racquet, suitable tennis wear and shoes.

Competitive Tennis
We compete all year in the Hants & IOW league, where we have a Men’s and a Ladies' Team.
One mixed team in the Apsley League (Summer).
Two mixed teams in the Winter League.
Men’s Veterans Team.
