Goring Tennis Club has a thriving base of juniors and is proud to offer a range of opportunities to young tennis players.  Along with our Junior chair, Clare, and Head Coach Jon we welcome budding young tennis players for individual or group coaching sessions.  A future Wimbledon Champion may be among us!

If you currently have a child attending Saturday Tennis - Remember as the weather gets warmer please make sure your tennis star has water in a named bottle, a cap to keep the sun out and has been slathered in sun tan cream!

Tennis Camp is a great opportunity for junior and mini members to improve their tennis skills under the guidance of our experienced coaching team.  It is hugely popular and a load of fun!

Just before HRH Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her Platinum Jubilee we are out on court again.  We are only running two days - and only releasing one session per day to make sure you get to that street party!


SESSION TIMES: (Single  sessions only).  

MONDAY - No session

TUESDAY - 1.00pm-3.00pm

WEDNESDAY - 9.00am-11am

 THURSDAY - No session

FRIDAY - No session

One or both days may be booked.

Camp safety:

Parents/carers – We are outdoors in all weathers!  If the weather is hot, please ensure children have sunscreen applied before attending the session and have water and a suitable hat with them.  If weather is cold/wet remember to dress for the conditions and take a coat (preferably waterproof) and a cap too.  For Health and Safety resons - no jewellery please. If you are giving your child a snack to take along, please ensure any snack is peanut free, thank you.  

Please be aware that undertaking any activity, including tennis, has the potential for increased risk of transmmission of COVID-19.  All participants and parents are advised to read the Government's guidance on stay safe outside your home.  Please find the link to the guidance HERE.

Symptoms of Covid are: a high temperature, a new continuous cough, loss of or change to sense of taste or smell.

Should any participant show these symptoms they should not attend camp.

In line with this guidance, all coaches and participants should undergo a pre-attendance self-assessment for any COVID-19 symptoms using the information provided by the NHS - see HERE.

Should an individual have demonstrated any such symptoms, they must follow NHS and PHE guidance on self isolation - see HERE.
