Here is Your Spring News Update!
Now the weather has taken a turn for the better, we look forward to seeing you down on court! Here are some updates and dates for your diaries.
Membership Renewals – April is the time to renew your membership – look out for the separate email in a few days time which will have all the information you need to get ready for a great 2026 season of tennis at The Grange. You can also check out the Membership page of our website.
Coaching - Head Coach Dave's current Saturday and Thursday coaching programme details are here. Please come down to support these sessions and improve your skills. Dave is always pleased to hear from you if you’d like to book any private 1-2-1 or group coaching sessions.
Social Tennis Club sessions resume on: Tuesdays 7th April from 6.00pm, and Saturdays 4th April from 12.30pm. Our Club Social Sessions are available to all members to come along and mix in to get some great friendly tennis sets. We ask everyone to play one short set (first to 6 games) or Super Fours ( play out 4 games) and mix in waiting members.
New from April 2026- Members Only - Super Doubles Strategic Sessions on Monday evenings
Come and join in the new Super Doubles Strategic sessions starting Monday 16th April 18.30pm to 19.30pm. Club Pro Coach Dave will lead these fun informal social sessions aiming to develop your doubles strategy and technique, for match and competitive play.
Existing and new members all welcome. Great way for new members coming from Dave’s coaching sessions to integrate into the Club Social scene.
Spring Working Party Sunday 19th April 10.00am - 12noon - come along and help spruce up the grounds and clubhouse. Refreshments provided!
Grass Court opening day - Saturday 2nd May – get ready for the Wimbledon vibes!
Saturday 9th May Annie Lord and Andy Husband Fun Tournament - 13.00pm Mixed Doubles (Round Robin format) partners drawn on the day. Bring and share afternoon tea. Please let me know by 7th May if you’d like to enter.

Fundraising -We are looking for a volunteer(s) to help us with fundraising as part of the facilities upgrade plans. You'd be working with Malcolm and Jane. There are lots of potential grants available to apply for which could really make a difference to help us upgrade our facilities. If you'd like to know more, please do reach out to me.
