Summer Tennis From April
Our Club Social Sessions are available to all members to come along and mix in to get some great friendy tennis sets. We ask everyone toplay one short set (first to 6 games) or Super Fours ( play out 4 games) and mix in waiting members.
From 1st May the grass courts are open for social and arranged play - subject to the weather!
Tuesdays 6.00pm - 8.30pm
Saturday 2.00pm - 5.30pm
Outside of Social sessions and other booked sessions, members are encouraged to arrange singles/double and please book your court time via the booking page on our website.
Winter Tennis from October
The nights close in and winter approaches, but our social tennis sessions continue! Albeit with some modifications.
The hard courts continue to be reserved for social tennis sessions on:
Tuesdays 6.00pm - 8.30pm
Saturday 2.00pm - 5.30pm
To avoid players waiting around in the cold/dark we recommend members use the Social WhatsApp group to arrange timings and players. If other members do come down during social sessions, please mix everyone in by playing Fast Fours and rotating players in.

The hard courts are also booked out as follows for Coaching and League Matches:

Thursday evening - Coaching
Saturday morning - Coaching
Please asses the court surface before you play, and avoid playing if courts are slippery or frosty.
Floodlights
The new floodlights are up and running. They are operated by pressing the court 1 or court 2 button on the right hand side of the control box. The lights are on a timer for approx 60 mins. Please remember to pay for your floodlight usage at £6 per hour. Per court Payment can be made via BACS, please use reference lights:

We have two all-weather floodlit courts, and four grass courts. During scheduled match and coaching times, courts are reserved for these events. At all other times, courts are available for play. Note that during match times, matches may be at other locations, check court time calendar link confirm court availability.
Members Social Play sessions on Tuesdays and Saturdays - everyone welcome no need to book! One short set of double to be played, then please come off court and mix in players who are waiting. Its a great time to meet new people and other club members.

Safety & Responsibility - All players must satisfy themselves that the courts are in a suitable condition to play. We recommend that players do not use the courts if they appear to be slippery due to the weather conditions. We would be grateful for feedback on the courts so please contact the club secretary with any concerns.
The courts are generally in use at the following times, although in summers (grass court season) there may be available courts on an ad-hoc basis during normally “booked” times.

Note: The floodlights on the hard courts are operated by key system with a nominal fee which covers the costs of electricity. Lights should not be used past 22:00 in consideration of local residents.
