Tennis Coaching Programme 

The Grange LTC offer a coaching programme all year round which is run by our Head Coach Dave Barnes and his qualified team of coaches.

Dave Barnes is an  LTA Level 4 Performance Coach with over 25 years experience.

Coaching sessions are held every Saturday  (9.00am -12.30pm )  Thursday (6.30-9.00 pm) and Tennis Camps in school holidays.

Message from Coach Dave 30th August 2024

Morning everyone, this is a quick heads up that this Thursday & Saturday are the last 2 groups of our summer sessions. I will send out the new dates, times and prices for next term in due course. I hope you’ve enjoyed these and are looking forward to the new term? Plans for this Thursday & Saturday are as follows: Thursday is Tournament Practice:
6-7pm: Mini Tennis 4-11 years
7-8.30pm: Teen & Adult 12+ yrs
Saturday is Competition Day: 
10-11am: Mini Tennis 4-11 years
11-12.30pm: Teen & Adult 12+ yrs
This Saturday I’d love to run a mini tournament in both sessions with a view to seeing how our players go in a competitive environment whilst working on distinct doubles tactics. The men’s B team have 3 important matches left in the season and are looking for some new blood to help out with these due to injuries and holidays etc.. After coaching we would love you to stay on and play in the Grange social from 12.45pm onwards so that our B Team captain Tom Fairlie can meet the players and see the emerging talent in the club ahead of picking his teams for home matches on Friday 7th, 13th & 20th September and with a view for team selection for next year.
