Firstly we would like to wish you all a very Happy Easter!
With the lighter evenings coming next week, and hopefully warmer and dryer weather we hope to see you down at the Club hitting those tennis balls!
The Spring Newsletter is on its way, but here are some early announcements for your information:
- Social Tennis Sessions are back from Tuesday 2nd April (6.00pm onwards) and Saturday 6th April (from 2.00pm). Senior members and passported juniors welcome to the drop in sessions. Please play one short double set and then mix in waiting players. Join in the discussion on the Social WhatsApp chat.
- Coach Dave has just announced his next mini/junior/teen/adult coaching sessions. See Dave Barnes Tennis Coaching for full details and book your place.
- The All-weather courts have been cleaned and are due to be surface treated and repainted in the next 2 weeks - weather permitting! They will be out of action for a couple of days and we will let you know when this vital upgrade work is taking place.
- The new membership year starts on the 1st May, by which your subscription payments are due. This year we will be inviting you to renew your membership via our ClubSpark platform. You will shortly receive an email inviting you to follow the link to renew your membership - it's quick and easy. Payment will be via bank transfer or cheque as before. You will need your LTA login details - the system will guide you if you have forgotten your password or you need to create an account. We are moving to Clubspark for membership administration to create more efficient services e.g. coming soon will be the function to book courts and pay for floodlights.
- Don't worry if you are not keen to use Clubspark this time, we are continuing with the old system of completing the relevant membership form and emailing it into grange.tennis@gmail.com. The 2024 Membership Forms and Codes of Practice are available on the Membership page of this website, which you would complete the relevant form, email it in and then make payment via bank transfer or cheque.
