Social Tennis 

All club social tennis sessions are for members and their guests. Members are asked to pay a £3 fee for each of their guests to play; please place the fees in the box in the clubhouse, or you can pay this to Gannon Sports, Club President Bryan Leslie, or Club Treasurer Lindsay Renwick.

Monday Mornings, Monday Evenings, and Thursday Mornings

We have three "turn up and play" social tennis sessions taking place each week: 

Monday morning social tennis sessions start at 0930, and run through to 1100/1130.
Monday evening social tennis sessions start at 1830, and run through to 2030/2100. 
Thursday morning social tennis sessions start at 0930 and run through to 1100/1130.

If you would like to join in, please come to the courts on Monday mornings or evenings, or Thursday mornings and join in the fun doubles matches that we play.

We cater for all standards and all levels of competitiveness.
See you on the courts from 1830 on Monday's and 0930 on Monday's and Thursday's.

Social tennis is free for members, and non-members can play for a £3 visitor fee.

Teen Tennis - Saturday Afternoons

For teenage tennis players, there is a specific Teen Tennis session, which takes place on Saturday afternoons from 4pm.  This session is also "turn up and play". For more information about Teen Tennis, please contact Sandra Pardoe by email on [email protected]

Cardio Tennis Social Sessions

The club hold regular cardio-style social tennis sessions.  Cardio-style Tennis is a high energy fitness that combines the best features of the sport of tennis with cardiovascular exercise, delivering the ultimate, full body, calorie burning aerobic workout. Most women can burn 300 to 500 calories per hour and men burn between 500 to 1,000. It combines warm-up, tennis drills, and fun games, all played out to music! It is about having fun and exercising, rather than winning points, so we welcome all standards of players.
