About our Policy:

Our policy explains when and why we collect personal information about our members and coaches, how we use it and how we keep it secure and your rights in relation to it.

We may collect, use and store your personal data, as described in this Data Processing Policy and as described when we collect data from you.

We reserve the right to amend this Data Protection Policy from time to time without prior notice. You are advised to check our website and the club notice board regularly for any amendments (but amendments will not be made retrospectively)

We will always comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when dealing with your personal data. For the purposes of the GDPR, we will be the controller of all personal data we hold about you.

Who are we:
We are Haverfordwest Lawn Tennis Club, The Parade, Haverfordwest, SA61 1PW, Pembrokeshire, Wales and we can be contacted at this address.

What Information we collect and why:

We collect our members name, address, contact telephone numbers and email address for the purpose of managing the member’s membership of our club.

We collect an emergency contact name and number for contacting the next of kin in the event of an emergency.

We collect the birth/age related information for managing membership categories which are age related.

How we protect your Personal Data:
We will not transfer your personal data without your consent.

We have implemented generally acceptable standards of technology and operational security in order to protect personal data from loss, misuse, or unauthorised alternation or destruction. We will notify you promptly in the event of any breach of your personal data which might expose you to serious risk.

Please note however that when you are transmitting information to us over the internet this can never be guaranteed as 100% secure.

We will hold your personal data on our systems for as long as you are a member of our club and for as long afterwards as is necessary to comply with our legal obligations.

We will securely destroy all financial information once we have used it and no longer need it.
