HHTC Tournament rules and deadline for matches

Matches will consist of 2 sets and if the result is 1-1 decided by a Championship Tiebreak (first to 10 by 2 clear points).

Please get played as soon as possible, otherwise Steve Mills will decide matches by coin toss. Can we aim to get all Preliminary & First Round matches played by the end of January 2026.

All matches to be played by 30th April 2026. Trophies will be awarded on Finals Day.

HHTC Summer Tournament 2025

The weather was perfect for the club's summer tournament, which was held on Saturday 9th August. Unfortunately, an injury meant that the Ladies' singles and doubles had to be postponed to a later date, which the opponents kindly agreed to. 

Many thanks to the umpires, line judges, committee and supporters for making such an enjoyable day a great success.  Frank and Mona kindly hosted the annual BBQ in their field in the evening.

Summer and Winter Club knockouts are organised within the Club and are open to all. These include:

• Men's Singles & Doubles
• Ladies' Singles & Doubles
• Mixed Doubles and Mixed Doubles Handicap.

A finals' day takes place when the whole club comes together to support and marshal the event.

HHTC Bank Holiday American Tournaments

For HHTC members, on Bank Holiday Mondays, we have a fun/social "American Tournament" which is followed by tea and cake.
