A special award was given for outstanding contribution to the club to Freda Parry who has recently celebrated her 100th birthday and was responsible for securing funding for the current courts and contributing significantly to playing and coaching at the club. The award with be known as the Freda  Parry award and will be given annually to the individual who has contributed to the club  in an exceptional way.
