The LTA have now updated the requirements for play for Tier 4 which applies to Helsby and Castle Park. Please ensure you are aware of and comply with all regulations to ensure the safe continued ability to play tennis.
You should not attend the tennis courts:
if you have any COVID-19 symptons,
if you are living in a household with someone who has a possible or confirmed infection,
if you are required to self-isolate for any reason
Courts must be booked in advance via Clubspark
Please use the NHS Test and Trace QR code at the courts
Singles play is permitted
Double play only for those in one family or support bubble.
You may not travel out of or into Tier 4 to play tennis.
Use your own equipment
Take your own hand sanitiser
Take the minimum equipment with you
Clean and wipe down equipment before and after play
Do not share food and drink with anyone
Do not leave anything on court
Plan timings that you are at the courts as close to start time as possible
Wipe down with alcohol gel any items that are touched such as gates, nets
Do not use the scorers
Allow others to leave the courts before entering - stand clear of all entrances whilst waiting
Leave the court slightly early to allow a change of players without contact.
Do not stay after playing
Clubhouse will be closed
There are no water or toilet facilities available
Please do not leave rubbish but take it with you for disposal
Stay at least 2m away from anyone not in your household or support bubble when not in play
No physical contact with other players
Do not chase the ball onto another court if in use
Where possible do not interact with anyone outside of the group you are playing with
Avoid touching your face
Use separate balls on different courts
If you share ball on one court - take extra care not to touch your face and clean hands before and after play with alcohol gel
Do not touch balls from another court with your hands - use racket or feet
No spectators
Only one parent/guardian or carer may accompany a player and they must remain off court and keep 2m away from any other spectators.
