Welcome to Henleaze Lawn Tennis Club
Floodlights now in place!
We are delighted to have 2 floodlit courts. These are being well used. The lights are great, giving very even lighting throughout. The courts have been resurfaced over the summer and are a joy to play on. Despite the torrential rain of recent weeks we have yet to see a puddle even in the worst weathers. Many thanks go to our neighbours for their patience during these significant works.
About the club
Henleaze Lawn Tennis Club, Avon's Tennis Club of the Year 2021, is a four-court, friendly and thriving club tucked away out of sight off Springfield Grove in Henleaze. We offer a wide range of social and competitive tennis to suit players of all ages and abilities from 3 years to 80+. Social tennis (club play), singles ladders and league matches for adults and juniors are all on offer.
Membership Annual membership covers the period from 1st March one year to 31st March the following year. Discounts are applied at 2 set dates in the year to reflect the number of remaining months. Club Play Daytime club play sessions run all year round on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Evening club play sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays have seasonal variations and details can be found on the Play page. All club play sessions are popular and the weekday sessions need to be booked with the organisers. Sunday and summer evenings are drop in sessions. Our popular all year round coaching programme for adults and juniors is run by Head Coach, Will Hardiman at WHTennis. If you have any questions regarding the coaching programme please contact Will Hardiman on 07708 472986 or email WHTennis@hotmail.com In addition to termtime courses Will runs holiday camps, gives private lessons and offers a restringing service. Discounts on courses given to club members.
Pay and Play on courts 3 & 4 provides Community access to non-members. Courts are bookable at £7 per hour through the website Booking page or using the Clubspark Booker App.
