Henleaze Tennis club provides several opportunites each week where players who have mastered the basics of tennis (serving and rallying) can meet others and enjoy social play. 

(If you are not confident that you are consistent enough there is a comprehensive adult coaching programme run by the Head Coach to enable development for all levels of player.  It is not unusual for regular club players to also attend coaching groups in order to improve their game.) 

There are 2 different formats for club play, drop-in and booked.

Currently daytime club sessions require booking and this is primarily through WhatsApp groups.  Please contact the organiser below if you would like to be included. 

Evening and weekend club play is 'drop-in' and that requires no booking.  Turn up and mix in.  It doesn't matter if you arrive late or have to leave early.  There is a board system for making sure that everyone is included although if you arrive late you may get one less set than others. 

Seasonal Evening and Weekend club play sessions:

Sundays 1.30pm Mixed -drop in and mix in.  All year round

Tuesday from 6pm.  Mixed -drop in and mix in.   Starts in April and ends at end of September when Floodlight rota starts. 

Fridays from 6pm.  Mixed - drop in and mix in.  Starts in April and ends at end of September when Floodlight rota starts.  The exception is the weeks of the Summer League when courts are used for the matches.

Floodlight rota for Tuesday and Friday night club play.  October through to end of March. 7pm until 9pm.  This is to avoid waiting around on cold evenings and give maximum playing time.  Any  member interested can join this rota.
