During Summer and Winter we enter multiple teams in the  Avon Youth League. Players are selected from the Junior Coaching Programme.

In the summer there are 4 players in all boys teams, 2 players in girls teams. 

During the winter there are 2 players in each team to  make sure the matches are not too long in the cold weather!   Matches are all FAST 4

In the summer all older teams (12U and up) play full sets to 6.  At one set all the decider is a tie break to 10, 2 points clear.  

The younger teams, 8U, 9U and 10U have different rules that the children will have practised before they play matches against other clubs. 

At Henleaze we encourage players to enjoy competition whether they win or lose.  It is important to learn to play fair and have FUN so that tennis becomes a sport they want to continue throughout their lives.
