Many thanks to all those who attended the HLTC Bake Off and helped to make it an enjoyable and successful afternoon. Thanks in particular to our judges, Julie B. Martine and Paul H. They performed a very difficult task with care and professionalism. 

Thanks to all the bakers who provided a magnificent display of delicious cakes and biscuits for us to sample! Without that there is no bake off! My thanks also, to all those who helped in setting up, serving, washing up, cleaning, packing away etc.; too numerous to name you all but your help was much appreciated. 

The weather couldn't have been better, in fact I hope no one suffered from heatstroke later on! 

We raised £181. 30 during the afternoon which was excellent. The expenses came to £49.44 but these can be deducted from the donation which was given to the club some time ago to support fundraising ventures.
