A huge well done to the Hoole LTC men's team who were crowned Cheshire Shield champions on Saturday 22nd June at Lymm Tennis Club. The team – Max Enston, Callum Atkinson, James Mayers, and Regan O’Brien – put in a brilliant shift throughout the day, showing great teamwork, composure, and a bit of grit when it mattered most.

After progressing through the early rounds with some solid performances, the lads found themselves in a tightly contested final against local rivals David Lloyd Cheshire Oaks. With the tie level, it all came down to a shootout – a tense finish that could have gone either way. But Hoole held their nerve, producing some clutch tennis under pressure to take the win and lift the Shield.

It was a fantastic day of tennis, and the team did the club proud – not just with the result, but with the spirit and sportsmanship they showed throughout. A big thanks as well to Lymm Tennis Club for hosting such a well-run and enjoyable event.
