It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Griffiths, just a few days before her 92nd birthday. 

Doreen was a former committee member and Treasurer of the club. She was a constant presence at the Club through many years, and together with Mr and Mrs Cadman, Bill Warne and George Westgarth, she helped lay the foundations for where we are today. Renowned for her business-like approach to managing Hoole LTC, Doreen was also a willing volunteer when practical help was needed.
