New Members

We are sorry that our beautiful newly surfaced courts caused a real spike in membership, such that we have had to close to new applications.  We now run a waiting list, the average waiting time being a month or two.   Please email the secretary on kingsgateltc@aol.com to go on the list.  

When membership is available, there is a one-off joining fee of £75 per adult and £25 per child of 10 years or over (younger children are free). 

This is in addition to our annual membership fees which are £145 per adult, £300 for a family (2 adults and any children under 18 or in fulltime education), £65 for a student and £50 for juniors.

Included in Club membership fees

    •    Use of the tennis courts and Clubhouse all year round.

    •    Attendance at Club Mix-In doubles sessions. These are for adults only and juniors with adult status awarded by the coaches for ability. There are four mix-in sessions per week, including two evenings. Tennis balls are provided. Many other clubs charge for mix-ins.

    •    Weekend American tournaments and social events to which everyone is invited.

    •    Use of the practice wall - though I'm afraid Storm Eunice means it is currently out of service!

    •    Free Membership  of LTA Advantage, making you eligible for the LTA ballot for Wimbledon tickets allotted to members of affiliated clubs.   See https://www.lta.org.uk/advantage/.

    •    Opportunity to play in the annual summer tournament and all year round singles box league.

    •    Play in club teams (by selection/invitation).

* Note: from time to time some or all courts may not be available because of mix-in sessions, children and adults coaching, Club team matches, and Winchester College use.

What is not included:

    •    Coaching fees for adults and children
    •    Use of the floodlights (£5 per hour)
    •    Tickets for food at social events
    •    Clubhouse Key (£10).
