Our wine tasting event was a great success last night! 🍾🍷🥂Thank you to Chester Beer & Wine for providing us with some lovely wine and port to taste! 

It was also the perfect opportunity to present the trophy to the winner of our FIRST EVER women’s singles championships. Congratulations to Shirley, a very worthy winner having won every single one of her matches!🏆 The “Elizabeth Batey Shield” was presented to Shirley by Elizabeth herself and our Chairperson Joanne. 

We also took the opportunity to thank Elizabeth for all her hard work in establishing the tennis club back in 2016 and she remains as our Honorary President after standing down from her role as Chairperson in 2023.
