At Kippen Tennis Club we have 3 qualified, LTA accredited coaches as well as a number of enthusiastic junior assistant coaches.
Chris Jewell (Head Coach)
Chris is a European Professional with the RPT and a teacher of Physical Education. Chris has experience coaching at a wide variety of clubs and playing in Division one in both the central and West of Scotland Leagues. Chris has been at the club for ten years , where he has expanded our coaching programme and overseen an increase in our junior membership and successes at all levels from juniors to seniors in the central leagues.
Calum Warwick (Lead Coach)
Calum is Level 2 LTA qualified and is certified to coach Cardio Tennis, he is the first in a chain of young adults who are following a path of coaching within the club. Currently at Strathclyde University, Calum plays for the uni team and is also involved in the committee and coaching there. Previously, Calum has coached at Killearn Tennis Club, Strathblane Tennis Club and Stirling University. Together with Fergus, he has also worked with Active Stirling over the past 2 years to deliver tennis to all the primary schools within the Balfron Cluster.
Fergus Craig (Coach)
Fergus has his Level 1 LTA qualification, and has also been involved at Kippen from a young age and is now currently the Men's Club Champ for the second year in a row. Fergus is at Glasgow University, and has been coaching at Kippen for a number of years. He has also coached at Stirling University, Strathblane Tennis Club and, together with Calum, he has also worked with Active Stirling over the past 2 years to deliver tennis to all the primary schools within the Balfron Cluster.
