If you are signed up for a coaching block please ensure your membership is also in place.
This is easy to setup through our website and starts from as little as £30 a year for an Under 12 member. Membership payments can be spread over 4 monthly installments too.

At Kippen Tennis Club we have 7 qualified, LTA accredited coaches as well as a number of enthusiastic junior assistant coaches.
Richard Knapman (Head Coach)
Richard Knapman is a fully licensed LTA tennis coach. Richard is passionate about the sport and is a driven coach who is constantly seeking new ways of improving coaching. His ambition is to help tennis players of all levels to reach their full potential.
Richard achieved his first LTA tennis coaching award at the age of 15 and represented the North of Scotland senior county team as a teenager. He went on to study Banking and Finance at Loughborough University, where he captained his University tennis team. After a career in the City, Richard returned to coaching.
He has a post-graduate diploma in Sports Coaching and is in the process of completing his MSc at the University of Stirling. Richard has played with many ‘greats’ of the game, including Bjorn Borg and Ilie Nastase. His coaching philosophy is based on creating a positive and encouraging environment for players of all standards and ability.
Chris Jewell (Coach)
Chris is a European Professional with the RPT and a teacher of Physical Education. Chris has experience coaching at a wide variety of clubs and playing in Division one in both the central and West of Scotland Leagues. Chris has been at the club for ten years , where he has expanded our coaching programme and overseen an increase in our junior membership and successes at all levels from juniors to seniors in the central leagues.
Calum Warwick (Lead Coach)
Calum is Level 2 LTA qualified and is certified to coach Cardio Tennis, he is the first in a chain of young adults who are following a path of coaching within the club. Currently at Strathclyde University, Calum plays for the uni team and is also involved in the committee and coaching there. Previously, Calum has coached at Killearn Tennis Club, Strathblane Tennis Club and Stirling University. Together with Fergus, he has also worked with Active Stirling over the past 2 years to deliver tennis to all the primary schools within the Balfron Cluster.
Fergus Craig (Coach)
Fergus has his Level 1 LTA qualification, and has also been involved at Kippen from a young age and was the Men's Club Champ two years in a row. Fergus is at Glasgow University, and has been coaching at Kippen for a number of years. He has also coached at Stirling University, Strathblane Tennis Club and, together with Calum, he has also worked with Active Stirling over the past 2 years to deliver tennis to all the primary schools within the Balfron Cluster.
Sam Quinn, William Boyd, Keir Singleton (Coaches)
Sam, WIlliam and Keir have grown up in Kippen playing tennis and were coached by Chris Jewell and the team from an early age. Now regular adult team players, they also passed their level 1 LTA qualification in 2018. Prior to that they had all been active assistants to Chris, Calum and Fergus so have built up a lot of experience coaching juniors and beginner adults too.
