Below is the coaching timetable. To book a place on any of the coaching classes, email Matt on the email address above, but please not that classes are currently limited to 5 people to comply with government and LTA guideleines during the coronavirus pandemic.

 

Scroll to the bottom of the page for a guide on the meaning of the different levels and colours to help you pick  a suitable class for you. If there is not a class for you at the right time/level please email Matt with what you are looking for and we will try and open up more options where possible.

 

All classes cost £7.50 per session and are paid by direct debit.

Choosing the right session for you and your child

 

For children's lessons, please select the correct ball colour based on their birth year and level based on their experience.

 

For adult lessons, select the level you feel applies to your experience.

Level Description
Level 4 A complete beginner or a player with very little experience. Cannot serve, rally or score and needs help understanding the rules of the game
Level 3 An inexperienced player who is can compete at the most basic level in their squad with assistance and would understand basic rules. Can serve (modified in some cases), hold a rally with the emphasis on getting the ball over and in
Level 2 An experienced player who has competed at Grade 5-7 competitions. They can serve, rally and score and have a basic understand of the rules of tennis. They have control over height, direction, and speed with a basic technique
Level 1 A very experienced player who has competed in Grade 3-4 competitions. They can serve, rally and score and have an excellent understanding of the rules. The have control over direction, height, speed, and spin, and are technically sound
