About the site

Little Common Tennis court is located within the Recreation Ground which is managed by Rother District Council. Please see map below. There is a car park and there are toilets on site.

The recreation ground provides opportunities for sports clubs to play football, cricket and stoolball and is the home of Little Common Football Club, Little Common Stoolball Club, Little Common Ramblers Cricket Club & is used by Bexhill Walking Football Club. Members of the clubs form the management committee that run the pavilion.  This was built in  2002  through the help of the clubs and funding from Sport England Lottery Fund and Rother DC who led on the scheme. The pavilion can be hired and can be done so by contacting the clubs.

As well as formal matches and training the site is open for the public to use for sport & play and includes a play area and a goal area for playing basketball.

The court is in addition to those provided at Egerton Park in Bexhill. Reference may be made to that site as a connecting venue and emails from this site or using egertontennis@rother,gov.uk will reach the same destination. Please however endure any information about the Little Common site clearly mentions this venue
