About the courts

The tennis courts are available to anyone in the village or surrounding area who wants to play - whether they are a member of the Tennis Club or not.  The courts are managed by the Loddiswell Tennis Club, which holds regular social tennis and coaching sessions on them. Non-members can book a court through the Booking page of this website. 

About the Club

Loddiswell Tennis Club was formed in 2016 so that the use of courts could be managed properly The Tennis Club's role is to provide those experiences that can only be gained through a community environment: playing with different players, playing competitively, swapping experiences with other players and perhaps getting coaching advice for those keen to develop their game.

During the summer the Club has a comprehensive Junior Programme including the LTA's Tennis for Kids Courses, Mini Tennis Improvers and Junior Tennis Development.  Details of upcoming Courses can be found on the Coaching module of this website.

Inclusivity is central to our approach to the use of the courts. We welcome enquiries from anyone who is interested in playing tennis at Loddiswell. Contact any member of the Management Committee, who would be pleased to help.  This website is the best place to check for news of upcoming events and activities. We also have a Notice Board outside the Pre School on the Playing field which will give the latest information on the Club, and post regularly in the Loddiswell Village News and on the Loddiswell What's On Facebook page.
