Longden Tennis Club

We are a small village club with a membership of 97 adults and juniors, based in the small Shropshire village of Longden, with a great history over the last 50 years. With two newly laid in 2025 tarmac hard courts and floodlights to ensure that poor light never affects play, we attract members of all abilities from the local area. The club is member owned supported by a Committee of 11 volunteers.

We are a very active club, offering weekly Social Tennis and Club Night Sessions, Cardio on the Courts, Walking Tennis, Junior Coaching programs,  Club Breakfast Tournaments, Annual Club Tournamens and group or 1-2-1  personal coaching sessions.

With several teams regularly entered into Shropshire leagues, we offer the chance to play competitively, but also cater for those who just want a friendly game to keep active and mix with the community. 

Longden Tennis Club is a very friendly club and is always ready to welcome new members of any age or ability, so why not come down one club night and have a chat with members and have a knock around on court?

Membership rates are very reasonable at less than £10 per month for Adult membership, paid by annual subscription.

Junior, Student, Couples and Family rates also available.
