On Sunday 3 September 2023, our President's Tea and Club Championships Finals Day took place on a glorious summer's day.  It was a very special day on our calendar.  Some highlights:

• Amazing finals full of tremendous rallies with a couple of matches lasting over 2 hours!
• 8 trophies presented by our President, Sue
• President’s Award given to Edward Benson
• Enthusiastic and appreciative spectators including our furry friends 
• Super 'Magdala family' atmosphere
• Lots of children running around and playing on the grass and courts
• Bountiful buffet with lots of homemade savouries and desserts
• Busy bar with a rescue mission needed to buy more Pimms!
• Wimbledon-inspired cake winner - congrats to Janet
