Pickleball

Pickleball was started in America in 1965 but has now become the fastest growing sport in the UK. It combines many elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis, where players use short handled bats (paddles) to hit the ball over the net. It is played as singles or doubles and is played indoors at the Club on the badminton courts with a modified net. Pickleball is a very social game, although still  competitive, is particularly kind to the body and is therefore good for players of all ages and abilities.

There are currently the following organised pickleball sessions during each week catering for all levels of ability. They are open to both members and visitors to play together and usually attract between 12 to 20 players per session. Courts can also be individually booked by members at other times.
