Pickleball

Pickleball was started in America in 1965 but has now become the fastest growing sport in the UK. It combines many elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis, where players use short handled bats (paddles) to hit the ball over the net. It is played as singles or doubles and is played indoors at the Club on the badminton courts with a modified net. Pickleball is a very social game and is a sport for ALL ages and abilities.  It can be played as intergenerational or within similar age/skill groups.  Previous racquet experience is an advantage but is not necessary to enjoy pickleball, it can be played by anyone.

Full details of the Pickleball schedule are available on the Club Play page.

Courts can be individually booked by members at other times.

Some sessions are more competitive and a ladder is in place that can be viewed at Pickleball Ranker

New players are welcome to attend any of the Open Club Sessions.
