Marlborough Tennis scooped two prestigious awards at the Lawn Tennis Association Tennis Annual Awards evening on Thursday 24th April, at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton.
The evening was presided over by HRH the Duchess of Gloucester as Honorary President of the LTA, who praised all finalists and volunteers for ‘their energy, talent and great inspiration to British Tennis’
The winners, selected from more than 2,000 nominations across 12 different categories, judged by national panels, have all been acknowledged for their outstanding contribution to tennis in 2024.
Marlborough Tennis was one of five finalists for the ‘LTA Club of the Year’.
Laura Robson a former British No.1 and Olympic silver medallist who is now the Tournament Director for the women's WTA 500 event at Queens Club, London for the first time in over 50 years highlighted the investment in the new clubhouse, strong focus on participation and activities as key strengths.
