Dan was born in Sussex and has represented the County at Junior & Senior Levels and was the Over 35's County Captain.

He has been coaching for 27 years, and was the head Tennis Professional at one of the biggest tennis and golf academies in the country Windmill Hill Tennis and Golf Academy and was the head pro of the David Lloyd club in Eastbourne.

Also in his time coaching Dan has worked abroad in Qatar, India, Germany and Florida, USA. This has allowed him to work with all types and standards of players, from beginners, club players, to county standard through to international players.

Dan was hired by the L.T.A. to be a hitter for the ladies at the Hastings Direct Tournament, Devonshire Park, Eastbourne and practised with Kim Clisters (former world no.1), Tatiana Pereybinis from the Ukraine and  other professionals.
