For those of you that are looking for some match play, please visit the LTA Competitions/Tournaments page:
From here you can plug in your postcode and filter on distance, age and grade - 7 being interclub competitions and 1 being national. If first time playing, I would suggest grade 6 or 5.

Box Leagues

Box leagues are a great way to practice your skills and get to know people throughout the club.
The LTA has developed a Box League App which we will use the administer the leagues. These are set up for different age groups and abilities.
All matches should aim to be completed within an hour to align with court booking. We can add and rest players at the end of each round.
So, to get started:
Step 1 Log in to your LTA account - https://competitions.lta.org.uk

Step 3 – Toggle using drop down (More Button) to appropriate box league –
Adult

Step 4 - Click Enter – Then you are finished!
You should then receive an email from the LTA's tournament software confirming your entry.
You can enter anytime from now, so please do so.
Format and to enter scores:
We are using the following scoring format:
Adult - “Fast 4”. Best of 2 sets to 4 games and a 3rd set 10-point tie break. Sudden death on second deuce.
8U Red Ball – Best of 3 Tie Break sets to 10 points
11U Orange Ball - Best of 3 Tie Break sets to 10 points
14U Green Ball – “Fast 4”. Best of 2 sets to 4 games and a 3rd set 10-point tie break. Sudden death on second deuce.
18U Yellow Ball – “Fast 4”. Best of 2 sets to 4 games and a 3rd set 10-point tie break. Sudden death on second deuce.
To enter scores:
You should have received an email from the LTA's tournament software confirming your entry.
We have set up the Box League using the scoring system that I have noted the above so when you input the scores they will need to reflect that scoring system otherwise the app won't accept it.
To access the app and input your scores you can either click on the link contained in the email you will have received confirming your entry into the box league or by:

Step 2 - Selecting the appropriate box league link on your profile page
