About our Club

Meopham Tennis Club was voted Kent LTA Club of the Year for 2022 and North Kent Club of the Year 2023. This really is a fantastic achievement in which the members and committee are very proud.

Meopham is a friendly, inclusive,  well-managed club where everyone and any ability is welcome.  The club is set in an  idyllic setting overlooking the Kent countryside. We attract people from all over the county and behond. The club has 3 newly refurbished hard courts and 2 New Floodlit Clay courts with currently over 200  Adult members and well over 170 junior members.  

We provide year-round opportunities for all club and non club members, offering the community a chance to book and play on our courts via our booking tab above. 

The Clubs full coaching programme is organised by our coaching partners Match Point Tennis. Stephanie and her team provide both group and individual coaching for all our junior and adult members, including rusty rackets, cardio , beginner , intermediate and advanced. This includes disability and walking tennis groups for the less-mobile . For more Information, check out our Coaching Page. 

We run 4 mix in social tennis sessions on Monday, Thursday & Sunday mornings from 10am and currently have a 12 adult teams and 8 junior teams in the Kent and North Kent competitive leagues. 

As well as tennis, during the year there are a number of social events such as quiz nights, comedy nights, snooker tournaments and a Christmas party. Also, we hold informal “American” style charity fundraising tournaments, and in late summer, the final of the annual club tournament complete with drinks and a barbecue.

On 24th March and 7th July 2024 we will hold our open days, when adults and juniors can come and join in with some tennis activities/coaching for free.
