Marcin Tycner - 2026 Coaching Programme
Marcin Tycner is the club's new Head Coach. Marcin is a Level 4 Senior Club Coach with more than 15 years experience of coaching across different countries. He has also competed at national/international level as a junior.
Marcin has a passion for helping players at all levels improve and particularly enjoys working with club players, ensuring each session is enjoyable and specific for player's needs.
Marcin has a degree in Sports Coaching and a Strength & Conditionining/Fitness qualification which helps in understanding various aspects of the game.

Mortonhall Tennis Club - Play, Enjoy, Improve
Welcome to Mortonhall Tennis Club. We are a friendly and popular tennis club based in the south of Edinburgh, with 5 high quality all-weather tennis courts in Edinburgh allowing play 365 days a year. In 2026 we are celebrating our 100th year as a club. We have more than 500 members of all ages.
We have enjoyable social tennis sessions for players of all abilities, run competitive box leagues / ladders at different levels for those wanting to compete and have our own club tournament every year in August/September. Also, we have multiple ladies, mens, vets, mixed and junior teams competing in the East of Scotland leagues and cups.
We have an active coaching programme for both adults and children from beginners to experienced players. Also, we support tennis in the community with our Active schools programmes at local primary schools and Edinburgh University play matches on our courts.
We look forward to welcoming you to our club.
MORTONHALL WIN EAST OF SCOTLAND WINTER CUP against Dumfermline Tennis Club 6 sets to 3 sets. This was a great result with strong wins over 2 division 1 clubs in the semi-final and final. Mortonhall won all 7 matches across the league and knock out stages. Thanks for all that competed over the season.
