Safeguarding Policies and Information

Mortonhall Tennis Club has a very active Mini, Junior and Intermediate membership and the club is committed to ensuring that these members are able to enjoy their tennis in a secure and safe environment.

It is club policy that all parents/guardians of children under 18 opt in to the consents as follows

a) I consent to the occasional use of photographs taken at events and matches which may include my son/daughter to be posted on the Club website or Tennis Scotland and appropriate social media platforms

b) I understand that the Club or Organisers accept no responsibility for loss, damage or injury caused by or during attendance on any of the club's organised activities except where such loss, damage or injury can be shown to result directly from the negligence of the Club or the Organisers.

If you wish to opt out of some of these then please contact marytelfer27@gmail.com so we can record this.

Please note that for all junior coaching an application form must still be completed with up to date medical information and emergency contacts.   Please ensure Dan Murray (club coach) is made aware of any changes.

Please also ensure that the contact details and other information on Clubspark is kept up to date.

The club's Safeguarding and Child Protection Officer is Lindsey Ross (Phone: 07866 513 975) should you need to contact for any reason.

The club is governed by the LTA and must abide by the LTA's guidance for safeguarding.  For further information see the LTA Safeguarding website
