The Ladies team secured an 8-4 victory in their opening match away against Kirkcaldy on Tuesday 19th April while the Mens team defeated Corstorphine 2nd team at home 15-0 on Wednesday 20th April.

The Ladies (now rumoured to be calling themselves 'The Musselburgh Madams'), were mightily impressed by the Kirkcaldy hospitality & more so by their impressive clubhouse - something we're aspiring to here at Musselburgh.  The Madams have already started a makover of our rather tired clubhouse & contents, with new crockery, cutlery & other implements as well as talk of paintbrushes, hammers, shelving, drills &....prosecco!

The Men just brought too many sandwiches to their 1st outing, though were treated to one of Juliet Nisbet's legendary cakes (this week a coffee sponge, cut into 12 generous slices & sporting enough icing to replenish any calories burned off in the match!).
