Booking FAQs
The club uses online booking functionality offered through the LTA's Clubspark platform.

Q: Is there an app for my tablet or mobile
A: Yes, you just need to install the app on your table or mobile phone, sign into or register with the app and the process is similar to booking through the website
Q: I am a member but the system is trying to charge me?
A: This is because when you registered on the website it was not through your membership package. Easily sorted, just email the Membership Secretary at liss.tennis@gmail.com and a link will be sent to you.
Q: How do I book a court?
A: To book a court you need to:
- Register with this website. You should only need to do this the first time you book.
- If you have already registered then Sign-in
- Once signed-in, navigate to the Booking page and follow the on screen instructions. If you are not a member you will be prompted to pay via the online payment facility.
You can follow the process in these online videos. They have been created by other clubs but they are also using ClubSpark and the process is vey similar.
Q: How much does it cost to book a court?
A: It's free to members. Non-members will be charged an hourly rate (pay-and-play)
Q: Can I book a court in advance?
A: Yes. Members and non-members can book a court a number of days in advance.
Q: When can I book a court?
A: The courts are shared between club time and public time (pay-and-play). The courts cannot usually be booked for pay-and-play sessions during club time and the normal schedule of court times can be found here. However during the Covid pandemic all courts are open for booking at all times, both by members and non-members, although members are able to book a little further ahead than non-members.
Q: Can I cancel a booking?
A: Yes. To edit or delete a booking, select the booking you have made to bring up the booking details and then use the edit / delete buttons as appropriate.
Q: How do I get access to the courts?
A: The access code for the courts will be emailed to you once the booking is confirmed or for non-members after receipt of payment is confirmed.
Q: Can I use the floodlights?
A: Sadly, no. Flood lighting is not yet availble for pay and play bookings. The club has a vision for online booking with electronic gate entry and automated flood lights. However, this requires significant investment that we do not have yet.
