Flyers have been delivered to local families via school bags thanks to Liss Infants, Liss Juniors and Greatham Schools, banners have gone up on the courts and at local schools and boards are also shortly to go up around the village thanks to Chapplins Estate agents.

The club is organising the event itself and a number of stalls on the day - we need your help so if you have an hour to spare please get in touch.

The aim  of the festival is to showcase the activities in and around the village with  each particpating club  and group  allowing visitors the chance to have a go. The tennis club for example will open the courts, set up some games and skill stations and provide an afternoon of free  coaching. Other particpating groups will be doing something related to their club or group.

The hope is for there to  be range of stalls and free activities showcasing each club and group with something of interest for every age, ability and demographic.

There will also be

  • bouncy castles organised by CM Sports
  • a fire engine thanks to Petersfield Fire Service
  • archery tthanks to Petersfield Bowmen
  • a BBQ organised by Liss Cubs and Scouts
  • a tea and Cake shop organised by Liss Guides and Brownies
  • a bar orhganised by the senio section of Liss Athletic FC

The festival  will be followed at 6pm by the start of a 12-hour Torchlight Tennis Marathon by  Ben Marshall with Ben hitting until 6am on Sunday morning.
