Information for Participating Groups
Schedule of the day
- 10-12am: Site setup
- 12am-1pm – Setup contingency
- 1-5pm: Liss Village Festival
- 5-6pm: Site clean up
- 6pm-6am: Torchlight Tennis Marathon and Tournaments

Risk Assessment
- The Club have conducted a risk assement to identuify and help mitigate risks

Traffic Movement
- Traffic movement allowed during set up (10-12am) and clear up (5pm onwards)
- Speed to be kept below 5mph - please be aware of your surroundings pedestrians at all times
- Traffic movement will be minimised as the event approaches – midday to 1pm
- Traffic movement is not allowed during the event itself – 1-5pm
- In the event of an emergency during the festival, movement will be allowed with a traffic marshal
LAFC have requested no vehicles on the main football pitch . They have invested time and resources improving it for next season so we need to protect it. If you need help moving items across the pitch please ask a marshal and the club can support you as you set up and clear away
Parking
- Cars can be parked on the playing fields in designated areas as defined in the site plan
- Parking in Newman Collard Car Park will be managed so as to maintain access to the event for all vehicles
- Parking in the car park will be prioritised for clubs/stallholders and disabled and reserved users (eg local car home minibuses)
- Additional car parking spaces are available at Liss school and in the main village car park in Hill Brow road
- The school will also open their managed car park so that extra spaces are available on the day
Facilities
- Toilets including an accessible toilet are available in the pavilion
- Water is available from the pavilion and club room
First Aid
- The tennis club coach is first aid trained and will be on the tennis courts
- If you have any first aiders who can support on the field please let us know
- There's a defibrillator located n the pavilion should one be required
- Emergencies: In an emergency call 999 – you are at Newman Collard Park in Liss.
- Hospitals: The nearest A&E is QA in Portsmouth
Photographs
- The tennis club is not taking photographs
- Please ask individual permissions before taking any photgraphs of particpants be taking photographs.
Rubbish and recycling
- Litter: The club will provide you with some bin bags
- Recycling: Please take any bottles or items for recycling home with you
- Clean up: Please help us clear up afterwards by taking a black biner home with you
