•Safeguarding Officer available at all times, if required

Has been well organised, with strong leadership and teamwork, and excellent communication with players / parents.  The tournament has been in planning with a TO DO spreadsheet running since the beginning of the year. This year it was organised by the General Manager and the Administrator who were on site from before play until matches were finished, ably supported by a team of Club members running the front desk/court allocation, working with the Referee. Improvements for this year were a new Referee’s hut with its own wi-fi hub and printer & improved tannoy. As court supervisors could see a match coming to an end, they would use the walkie-talkie to notify the front desk who could then call the next match - so there was minimal down-time between matches.

Many juniors were playing in multiple events so it was a juggle to get all the matches played but we worked into the evening to ensure everyone who could play/ wanted to play got their match completed. Has shown innovation with good promotion, off court ideas and activities, and linked up well with local clubs, groups, coaches and communities and supported WTN Posters, tweets, emails, facebook used to contact coaches and previous competitors. Each day the kitchen is run by a team of volunteers offering nutritious, home-cooked hot and cold food ranging from sandwiches, salads, baked potatoes to the famous Cromer Raspberry Cake.
