Norfolk duo Barry Fulcher and Caroline Blincoe were again amongst the list of champions at this years Seniors British Masters Tournament in Wrexham.
Barry marched through to the singles final in the 045s category without being troubled. He was finally tested in the final by Aiden Graveson but came through 7-6, 6-4. It has been a difficult year for Barry due to illness and injury but it is great to see him back competing and having the success his tennis deserves.
Caroline Blincoe was competing in the 0ver 70s category and like Barry has enjoyed success at the British Masters before. Unfortunately, Caroline was forced to retire after the first set of the final due to injury. We wish you a speedy recovery.
This denied Caroline the chance of winning the double having already secured the doubles title along with partner Jane Rushby.
Norfolk was also represented in the Over 75 category by Jane Ling. Playing alongside parnter Barbara Bloor, Jane finished 2nd in the doubles event.
