2025-2027 Strategy - Overview
1. Re-establish competition for juniors at every club/venue, i.e. Club Championships.
2. Establish a multi-venue LTA Youth red and orange ball circuit (ideally across 4-6 venues), organised by individual coaches/key providers to include every junior.
3. Develop reach to under-served communities, engaging more with venues in areas of the greatest diversity 4. Utilise senior coach collaboration/mentorship work to drive up overall junior playing standards and etiquette.
5. Provide guidelines for coaches at smaller venues on key junior coaching criteria.
6. Develop a pathway (from Under 8s through to Norfolk’s senior county team), a representation that every coach, club/venue, player and parents understand.
7. Understand club/venue involvement in schools and identify new partnership areas;
8. Continue to drive the development of Inclusive Tennis and ‘Open Court’ opportunities, maintaining the County’s reputation as a nationally recognised leader.
9. Identify sponsorship and additional funding streams that will enable the County to increase opportunities; promote, support and develop every objective.
10. Attempt to grow the number of female coaches, officials and committee members.
11. Encourage all ages to participate in club & county-wide tennis and padel competitions, with particular emphasis on growth of County Championships (incorporating Inclusive Tennis sessions, match play).
12. Further improve all communication and marketing channels; grow database.
13. Increase recognition for LTA Awards, player, coach and tournament achieve.
14. Identify future volunteers for County management, sub-committees and league organisers; improve diversity in coaches and activator workforce.
