It is great to report that in recent weekends, a number of the counties most promising juniors have been competing hard in LTA regional tour competitions. Here are some of the highlights:

Success for Girls at U12 Central & East Tour, Culford

4 of Norfolk’s U12 girls competed at the Central & East Tour Grade 4 at Culford last weekend..

An all Norfolk final with Imogen and Charlotte battling it out, after some great tennis from both, Imogen got the win in a third set tiebreak.

Sam Runner Up in Central & East Tour at Easton

Congratulations to Norfolk County Player Sam for finishing second in the U11 Central & East Tour Grade 4 event at Easton recently.

Alsie wins U/10 Central and East Tour Event at Easton

Also at Easton, over weekend of 11-12th October it was the turn of the U/10 Boys & Girls and U/11 Boys.

Norfolk were well represented by Alsie M, Abigail W, Amelia H and Olivia K in the U/10 Girls event. Special mention to Alsie who won all her matches to win the title.

Well done also to Freddie B and Joshua B who both had good wins in the U/10 Boys.

In the U/11 Boys event, Norfolk players Lucas T, Micah K and Albert B were competing. After touugh first round draws, Lucas and Micah enjoyed good wins as they gain valuable competitive experience at this level. Micah and Albert playing out a 3 set epic which ended 10-8 in favour of Micah!
