On Sunday Norfolk U18 boys and girls headed to Corby for their Twelve Counties group 2B event with Northamptonshire, Essex and Leicestershire.

The boys team of Luca, Joseph, Luie and Oli got off to a good start with a solid 4-0 win over Leicestershire. 
Next up was Essex which ended in a close 2-2 draw after some competitive matches. 
Going into the final fixture v Northamptonshire the group was tight with three teams having the chance to finish top. The tie finished in a  2-2 draw meaning the Norfolk boys topped the group on rubbers won.

Well done to the four lads, something for them and the rest of the squad to build upon as their focus turns to U18 County Cup on 1st-3rd March.

The girls team of Ruby, Darcie, Daisy and Angela began with a 3-1 defeat to Leicestershire. 
Before then facing a young but strong Essex team which ended in a 4-0 loss.
Last up was Northamptonshire and despite a couple of long tight matches the Northamptonshire girls came out with a 4-0 victory.

Credit to the girls, they battled all day and were unlucky not to come away with some more wins. 
Special mention must go to Daisy who stepped in at short notice due to illness.
