A fantastic week for our young wheelchar pro players, Ruby Bishop and Ben Bartram:
Ruby Wins in France
Congratulations to Ruby Bishop for winning the doubles title at the Paratennis Toulouse-Balma with partner Sandrine Cauderon Paulin.
Ruby was also singles runner up, narrowly losing out to her doubles partner in three sets in the final.
It caps off the 2024 season for Bishop, where she won 4 doubles titles and 2 singles titles
Ruby, still only 20 achieved a junior high world ranking of No.3, is currently 52 in world.
Well done, Ruby.
Success in Turkey for Ben.
Congratulations to Ben Bartram for winning the doubles and being singles runner up at the TTF 1 in Turkey last week.
Ben won the doubles title with Japanese partner Shogo Takano.
After a good run in singles Ben lost in the final to Chinese player Zhenxu Ji. A great week for Ben.
Ending the year having reached 6 TTF Doubles Finals!
Ben, who is 19 years old started playing wheelchair tennis aged 11. He reached world no.1 as a junior and is currently No.25 in world.
