Each year, North Berwick Tennis Club yields the courts to the East Lothian Open committee for the running of the annual ELO tennis tournament.

With over 400 competitors and 800 matches played over 7 busy days, the ELO Tennis Tournament is one of the largest Open Tennis Tournaments in Scotland. The Tournament began in 1927 and currently attracts many competitors, from all over the world. In recent years it has received recognition with awards from the LTA.
