Linda Chew won the Northampton Lawn Tennis Club (NLTC) Member of the Year Award 2025.
She secured the victory during the club's first ever award show during December, holding off strong competition including the runner up Rueben Atack.
In the other categories, the NLTC Coach of the Year was won by George Upton, one of the younger members of the coaching team at the club. Jasmine York finished in second place.

In the junior category, Vlad Dinu saw off the competition to become the clubs first NLTC Junior Member of the Year. Second place was secured by Oliver Stead, a long time junior member at the club along with Vlad, who grew up through our coaching programme together.

NLTC Match Player of the Year was won by Jack Webb, another junior member from our coaching system. Jack secured almost half the votes, beating off Sam Thomas to the prize.

Patsy McCaffrey was victorious in the NLTC Most Improved Player category. Andy Langford finished runner up.

Our final award winner was Rueben Atack, collecting Blooper of the Year (a fun award aimed for light hearted reasons for winning). Rueben won the award for being the funniest doubles partner. Rafi Gallo, son of our Director of Tennis Simon Gallo, finished in second place.
A big thanks to all who contributed to making this first award show for the club a success. Congratulations also to all the nominees, well done for all your hard work in 2025 and we wish you all the best of luck for the future.
