Easter Junior Tennis Camp Dates Announced.
Places on the Easter Junior Tennis Camp, to be held from 6th - 9th April, are filling up quickly. Don't delay - book your junior in today (they don't have to be a club member - we'd just love to see them on court). Full details here.
Ball Machine Now Mended
The ball machine has been mended, so it is also ready to play again. You must have a brief lesson on how to use it first (email [email protected] to book in) and book it through the clubspark booking system and report any issues if something happens when you are using it.
Tennis resumes on 29th March!
Let's hope we've done the last of the lockdowns....so let's play more tennis! Full details of how to play by the Covid rules will be announced to members by email (and you can take a look at the latest LTA guidance here), but why not find your kit, wherever you put it and book a court now. - Why not book in for a lesson with James Muir to dust off the rust to make sure your tennis is in tip-top shape when you step back onto the court. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Play resumes post lockdown
The LTA have confirmed that we can get back on court on Wednesday 2nd December, but must abide by the restrictions laid out in the grid (which shows what can happen in each tier). Info about current guidance for outdoor play is given here.
Using the ball machine just got easier
A plug has just been installed in the ball machine's storage box/shed, making charging it up much easier. Read how to book and use it here.
2020 Club Tournament
Thank you to all who entered and congratulations to the winners who are listed here.
Battle of the Sexes!
The ladies & mens singles ladders have merged, so hence why we've renamed it (after the brilliant film of the same name!) Playing singles is great exercise, great for your tennis and good fun. Should you want to join in, email [email protected]

Upgrade Works Done
Great news! Court 1 has been resurfaced, Courts 4 & 5 have been fixed up and repainted and Courts 2 & 3 have been cleaned too. Court 3's lights were replaced just before the lockdown began, so now you can play on Courts 1, 2 & 3 until 9.30pm throughout the year in light as good as daylight.
The Club Reopens For Play Post Lockdown
The Committee are delighted that the courts reopened on 13th May, but members must adhere to LTA guidelines. Please read the full article here and #playbytherules.
New Lights For Court 3
Court 3 will be out of action for a couple of weeks from the beginning of March whilst new lights, which will be the same as those on Courts 1 & 2, are installed. These have been funded through a grant from the Augean Fund, topped up with some of our own club funds. Enjoy!
