We are looking to recruit a Welfare Officer for Palewell Common. This is a voluntary position.  The description of the responsibilities is available on request.  In short the welfare officer is the first point of contact for any safeguarding concerns at the site. Anyone interested in applying for the role will need, if successful, to be prepared to obtain DBS clearance from the LTA (we can organise this with you) and also attend a Safeguarding Course at the LTA (we can also arrange this for you).  It is not a time consuming role, but is nevertheless an important one. 

The role would suit any local parent of a child playing at either venue, or an adult who attends sessions or plays casually at the site.
