Group (Squad) Coaching Terms and Conditions

  • Squad fees run on a rolling monthly basis. No refunds can be given.
  • Should you ever want to adjust your Direct Debit, email us before 24th of any month.
  • Coaching fees include 4-weeks free in case of rain,  an estimate made on the average cancelled sesisons per annum.  
  • Fees are based on a years' coaching divided into 12 equal payments, so are due in school breaks too.
  • Tennis Squad reserves the right to remove participants from its group programme if their behaviour is of detriment to the coaching environment. 

Private Coaching Terms and Conditions

  • Each coach sets their own fees based on qualification / accrediation level / experience / demand. Please contact us if you would like a full price list. Prices are for 1:1 lessons only. 1:2 lessons incur an additional fee.
  • The coach will advise a suitable session length.
  • All lesson fees include floodlights and equipment usage. Floodlight fees are subject to review should costs increase. 
  • Lessons are for club members only, otherwise a £5 visitor fee applies with a limit of 4 sessions before being required to join.
  • Fees for private lessons are paid directly to the coach at the start of each session, or in monthly arrears (for regular clients paying promptly via BACS. Lessons may be stopped if prompt payment is not made. 
  • Lessons interrupted by inclement weather will be chargeable as follows: Less than 50% completed: no charge / More than 50% but less than 100% completed: 50% charge.
  • Lessons may be cancelled by either party due to other commitments (3 days’ notice needed) or illness (same day acceptable but ideally a morning notification). If the client fails to attend a pre-booked lesson, the first incidence is overlooked but on the 2nd occasion the lesson is chargeable to the client.

Buddy Hitting Terms & Conditions

  • All enquiries must be made through the club website or the Head Coach, and not direct to coaching assistants. 
  • If buddy hitting is recommended, the player/parent will be put in touch with the hitter (and their parent if they are U18). 
  • Activities will be limited to rally-based hitting, patterns of play and point-play. 
  • Sessions may only take place at off-opeak times (before 6pm during weeknights and after 12pm on Saturdays). 
  • The player/parents is responsible for booking courts, providing balls (1-3 tubes) and activating the floodlights if needed.
  • A parent must also stay on-site with all players aged U18. 

Safeguarding (applicable to all junior bookings)

As part of the Club’s rules and to meet current legislation, we require your consent for a number of matters whilst your child is in our care. Please read the following carefully and understand that by signing up for any of our coaching courses, you agree to these points.

  1. To allow my child to take part in the tennis programme.
  2. To permit photographs or video of my child to be taken during coaching or match activities (if published, they will appear without contact details, in line with current guidelines). If you do not give consent for photography, please email admin@tennissquad.net or speak to any of the coaches.
  3. For the administration of emergency injury treatment in the event that my consent cannot be obtained at the time of the injury and where the injury is considered life threatening or requiring immediate treatment.
  4. For my child’s personal data to be stored on database in line with Data Protection regulations.
  5. That I agree with the club’s terms and conditions for non-members (if not already a member) which are available in the clubhouse.
