About Us
Windsor Lawn Tennis Club, Penarth (commonly known as Penarth Windsor) was founded in 1914 and is located on Larkwood Avenue, next to Evenlode Primary School – CF64 3JJ.
The club offers excellent facilities, including:
- 8 courts (3 hard, 5 artificial clay) with state-of-the-art floodlighting
- A modern clubhouse with a fully licensed Deuce Bar, TV, and Wi-Fi
- A public Padel court located between the two main banks of courts
Over 30 teams represent the club across various age groups. Our Men’s and Ladies’ first teams compete in the South Wales Premier divisions, while our juniors participate in top South Wales leagues. As an LTA-accredited club, we meet all safety and welfare requirements and are proud to be an LTA Youth Recognised Venue, a kitemark for excellence in junior coaching.
There’s plenty to enjoy off the courts, with an active social calendar including parties, bi-monthly clubhouse events, and weekly Men’s and Ladies’ Nights, as well as multiple ‘mix-in’ social tennis sessions.
Our award-winning professional coaching team supports over 600 members, offering programmes from mini tennis to adult sessions. We are especially proud of our track record in developing tournament players, many of whom have gone on to compete internationally.
