The British Tour is a tennis circuit for professional players wanting to compete on home soil, young stars with ambitions of going pro in the future, and national level players who still compete at a high level - in other words, the very best of British tennis.
The tournament runs all week from Monday 16 May to Saturday 21 May with matches taking place throughout the day until early evening. We are encouraging all members and visitors to come down to the club, watch some fantastic tennis and support the players taking part.
What's On
The tournament will run all week from Monday 16 May and will finish with the Men's and Ladies' finals from around midday on Saturday 21 May. We also have several events running throughout the week.
Wednesday Padel Tennis with Annabel Croft
Former GB Number 1 Annabel Croft will be visiting the club on Wednesday to take part in a fun padel event supported by Game4Padel. This will start mid-afternoon on Wednesday and will be followed in the evening by a Q&A with Annabel hosted by BBC Radio Wales' Dot Davies. We will try our best to get as many players as possible on court with Annabel throughout the afternoon, with priority for members offering player hosting.
This is a free event although we are asking spectators and participants to donate £5 towards a raffle ticket to win some great padel tennis prizes!
Thursday Players' and Sponsors' Quiz and Curry **Sold Out**
On Thursday, we will be hosting a quiz and curry for players and tournament sponsors. Tickets have sold out for this event however please keep an eye on social media for last minute ticket availability. We also have enough volunteers to help with the running of this event.
Friday Quarters and Semi Finals
Friday is one of the highlights of the week with the quarter and semi-final matches taking place. Although we aren't running a formal event, the bar will be open and there is always a great atmosphere for spectators.
Saturday Finals Day
We plan to start play from just after midday. In previously years we've attracted several hundred spectators and we want your help in topping that number this year.

You may have seen our dedicated tournament programme in the clubhouse. These are FREE to our members, and we are asking that you take extra copies to distribute to other tennis clubs and key venues throughout Penarth.
